Ladies Introduction

We have a thriving Ladies’ Section with over 100 members.  Our weekly competitions are played on Thursday mornings between 8.00 and 11.00.  Starting sheets are posted on the Ladies’ notice board.

We have three teams who play inter-club County matches – Still Cup, President’s Trophy and Sheelah Creasy Bowl – plus a team which competes in the North Devon Friendly League.  We also play a number of friendly matches against other Clubs – both ladies and mixed.

We have a Ladies’ Open Three Ball in May (the date for 2012 is Thursday 3rd May) and in August (the dates for 2012 are Thursday 16th and Friday 17th) we have our Ladies’ Open Meeting with scratch and handicap prizes for each day plus the aggregate. On the Thursday afternoon there is also an optional 15 hole greensomes competition.  Visitors are very welcome and many ladies return year after year.
