RND are through to the last 32 in Great Britain of the Annodata with a good win against Bridport & West 3-2

Josh Coles was first off for RND and gave RND their first point with a dogged display against his opponent, it was a tighter match than it should of been but after some wayward driving by Josh his approach shots made up for it, he dug deep and was 2 up after 16 and finally finished the game off on 18. won 2 up

Shaun Loze was next off and had a very slow start and was 5 down early due to some great play from his opponent and sloppy play of his own but won 10,13 and 14 to close the gap only to lose 15 after a bad chip, shaun won 16 and after a great approach on 17 for a gimmie birdie and his opponent in the ditch he thought he was going down the last only for his opponent to chip to 8ft from the ditch and hole his birdie putt. lost 2 and 1.

Chris Hampton was off 3rd and steam rolled his opponent, after 3 birdies in his first 4 holes Chris was 5 up after 5, Chris never eased off and was putting pressure on his opponent hole after hole and finally won 7 and 5. His opponent looked shell shocked when he came in and admitted that he has never seen a putting master class like that in his life. RND 2-1

Neil James was much improved after his big loss in the previous match and played solid from the start after trading holes early he was 1 down after 8 but a couple birdies in the next 3 holes put Neil 2 up and played steady golf from there on in, he didn't drop another shot but lost 12 and 15 giving shots but sealed the all important win for RND on 16 with another solid par to give RND their 3rd point and sealing the win.

Captain Ollie Tanton was last off and was giving 8 shots to Bridports lowest handicapper, they were both playing a good standard of golf, all was going to plan after 8 but his opponent then eagled 9 with a shot and birdied 10 to inch ahead, Ollie was all square after 16 with some great play but lost 17 giving a shot and could not quite level it on 18 but RND had already won the match.

Well done lads.
