Another busy weekend of Golf & Socials at RND !!

Saturday was a little wet but that didn't dampen any spirits at the club at all! The course is playing incredibly well, the green are amazing and as a result the scores in the Saturday Winter mixed Greensomes were superb with a couple of ladies groups doing really well towards the end just when Martin Butler and Robert Greenwood were writing their speeches! Greens News March 2019

Royal North Devon Golf Club 18th Green
The crows finally seem to have stopped pecking at the greens and surrounds. The grubs they seek have migrated deeper into the soil and out of reach. We will continue to search for remedies in order to try and prevent a re-occurrence next winter. We have managed to patch and repair the majority of the damage caused to these areas, it is now just a matter of dressing/levelling and growing the patches in. Course changes - EGM Update

The course has undergone a sustained attack from the sea for all of the time it has existed and during the winter of 2017/18 we lost over 20ft of sand dune beside the 7th green which took half of the 8th Championship tee completely. The 7th green is now only about 35ft from the edge of the erosion. It was decided by the committee that a redesign of the affected area of the course was urgently necessary to ensure that we will always have 18 Championship golf holes worthy of the title "The oldest ...
