Golfing Girls Generosity gifts £3000+ to North Devon Hospice

rnd ladies

The golfing ladies at RND have been fundraising all year for the Captains charity, the North Devon Hospice.

At a well-attended ladies AGM retiring captain Tania Wickham was delighted to hand over a cheque for £3,093.37 to Jess Burford-Redgrove, Community and Events Fundraiser at North Devon Hospice, on behalf of all the ladies.

The money has been raised throughout the last year by the ladies at coffee mornings, raffles during competitions and various other events. Many thanks to all the ladies who have given so generously of their time and money to support Tania’s chosen charity.

  • Must visit, RND is the oldest golf club in England and has excellent facilities and practice areas. You get to share the course with ponies roaming close by and at the end of the round enjoy some lovely food from the restaurant whilst looking out across the horizon. Wonderful staff, help you enjoy the experience of this treasured gem.
  • At points wide open. The rushes and bushes are what will swallow your ball. The thing that makes this course tricky will always be fighting the wind and judging yardage. Greens true and well paced. Starter was helpful. Clubhouse like a museum of history
