Ladies Matchplay & Foursomes updates

Ladies Summer Foursomes Knockout

Congratulations to Liz Blight and Rosemary Ferguson (pictured) winners of the Ladies Summer Foursomes knockout competition who defeated Liz McKay and Paula Gibbs in a closely fought match, winning on the 18^th hole.

The club also run a Ladies Summer Singles Knockout and the winner was Wendy Dale-Gilvear, who defeated Alex Guy in the final, a great victory for Wendy.

Sally Brown Foursomes

On Sunday 15^th September the Sally Brown Foursomes competition took place having been cancelled due to inclement weather in August. The sun shone and from a field of 28 pairs Ruth Davis and Bryan Palmer took the honours with a fabulous 43 points. Second place went to Paula Gibbs and Steve Irving and Mel and Paul Shapland came third. Well done to all.
