Mens Dinner 2020 Guest Speaker - Iain Carter BBC Golf Correspondent

Iain CarterWe are delighted to announce that the guest speaker for the 2020 Mens Dinner will be Iain Carter who is the BBC Golf Correspondent.

Iain has been the BBC‘s Golf Correspondent since 2003. Since then he has led commentary teams for 5 live at major championships and Ryder Cups. Accruing hundreds of thousands of airmiles each year, Iain travels the golfing globe to provide reports, blogs and tweets from all of the game’s most important tournaments.

Iain is also a capable single figure handicap golfer and will, if commitments allow, also play golf with us in the American Foursomes on the Saturday.

Iain is a recognised public speaker and a big fan of RND so we are delighted to welcome him here in March. Make sure you book your place early, places are limited and booking is a strict first come basis.

The Mens Dinner is open to all Golfing members of the club. The dinner is on the evening of Friday 20th March where there will be a "live" draw for partners in The American Foursomes golf competition the following morning. Entry can be booked direct from this link.

The dress code for the dinner is jacket and tie - black tie is optional, if you want a club colours bow-tie these are available from the office.

  • One of the country's oldest clubs. Even if you are not playing, just enjoy the fantastic views from the cafe area that looks out towards the Bristol Channel approaches and Lundy island.. wonderful place with wonderful staff.
