Mens Dinner Speaker 2019 - Jeremy Robinson

The Men’s Dinner speaker for 2019 will be Jeremy Robinson European Tour player and Director of Blackstar Golf.

JeremyRobinsonJeremy had a successful Amateur career with wins at:
1982 Peter McEvoy Trophy
1985 Lincolnshire Amateur Championship
1987 Brabazon Trophy, Lagonda Trophy, Berkshire Trophy, Scrutton Jug.

Jeremy represented GB in the Walker Cup in 1987 winning two and halving two matches.

He turned Professional in 1988 were he won Five times on the Challenge tour.
Jeremy played in the Open Championships on 4 occasions finishing 58th at Carnoustie in 1999, remembered for the horrendous rough, bad weather and of course John Van de Velde's 7 down the last hole.

Jeremy played in more than 250 European Tour events over many years and he now runs Blackstar golf; this company manages Professional Golfers which include Jimmy Mullen.

We are lucky to have him attending our Dinner, please come and support this evening on Friday 29th March at 7.30pm with golf the following day from 8.45am.

A draw for partners will take place on the Friday evening during the dinner, the golfing format is American Foursomes. There will also be an opportunity, after the dinner, to wager on our in-house "Tote" on anyone you think might play well - including yourself obviously!

Entry fee is £25 and members can enter now on the website
