I hope this finds you all well in these difficult times. It is very disappointing and frustrating to be back in lockdown, having said that there are many people in the country suffering badly with this horrible disease. Golf will return one day, and the clubhouse will reopen, and we can look back on this as an experience, hopefully never to be repeated in our lifetime. At the 151st Ladies AGM retiring captain Tania Wickham handed over the captain’s badge to new Captain Denise Hood. Thank you to all who have made it another lovely year of golf and friendship. We wish Denise all the best in her Captaincy year and look forward to all that 2019/20 has to offer.

The golfing ladies at RND have been fundraising all year for the Captains charity, the North Devon Hospice. At a well-attended ladies AGM retiring captain Tania Wickham was delighted to hand over a cheque for £3,093.37 to Jess Burford-Redgrove, Community and Events Fundraiser at North Devon Hospice, on behalf of all the ladies.
