Friday marked the first home game of the Sheelah Creasy Bowl, a Devon ladies singles match play competition for handicaps 21-36. It was a chilly start but it soon warmed up with a light wind. The course proved a step too far for the Exeter ladies who found the tight lies, bunkers and rushes galore a tough call. Parker Trophy Team Defeated In Close Quarter Final Our Parker Trophy team were defeated 2-1 by Exeter last week in the Quarter Final of the scratch county knockout event on a very firm and fast running Tiverton course.
