Our Ladies Still Cup team unfortunately lost their semi-final match against East Devon at Churston on Thursday 9th September. The team put up a brave fight, but with many of the eligible players not being available it was a very tall order to win the tie. After winning both our home matches against Saunton and Tavistock our Ladies Still Cup team has qualified for the Semifinals at Churston in early September. Due to circumstances out of our control, we have had the opportunity to introduce the match-play concept, scratch golf, to several ladies with slightly higher handicap than what we normally would choose and also higher handicap than our opponents.
