29 mixed teams played on Saturday 12th in blustery conditions and the competition was won by Selwyn Fisher and Melanie Cullen with a fantastic 41 points just squeezing Mike & Trish Jordan into 2nd place on count back. The Sally Brown Foursomes was won on Saturday 14th August by Craig Brodie and Mary Harper, with a magnificent score of 48 points. President Mervyn Fudge presented the prizes along with the Ladies President’s Prize which was played in June and won by Carole Bewes with another excellent score of 48 points. This was the first prize giving at the club for many months due to Covid restrictions, and it was wonderful to see so many members and visitors in the clubhouse.
