How wonderful it was to return after the latest Covid lockdown to inter-club competitive golf on Sunday, with the ladies match against Saunton in the Annodata Match Play Competition played at RND. It was a fiercely fought battle with an all square result at the end of the five matches. This meant a playoff which RND sadly lost. The 2019 August meeting came to a close on Friday evening with the presentation of all the trophies for the last year. There were lots of very happy golfers ! Congratulations to all the winners and all the runners up and a huge thank you to all the Club Staff, Professionals and Green Keepers who worked tirelessly to give the members such a fantastic week.
