Match 1
Captain Ollie Tanton giving 4 shots teed off first and duly eagled the first hole to go 1up but never got any further than 2up and was pegged back on 15 and was all square going down the last, he held his nerve and won the last for a valuable point.
Match 2
Shaun Loze was next up and after a scrappy half on the first hole won his next 3 holes with pars only to be pegged back to 2up after 6 but duly birdied 7 and was 4 up at the turn, shaun finished his match in style with a birdie on 13 and won 7 and 5 for RNDGC to go 2 up.
Match 3
Big Hitting Michael Colwill (described as an animal by his opponent) was off next and had a very close match and was 1 up with 3 to play but lost 16 and 17 and was 1 down on the 18th tee and after another massive drive down the fairway he made an excellent up and down from just off the green to win the hole for a valuable half.
Match 4
Mr dependable Chris Hampton was off next and had another very tight match against a very good opponent, with only a half needed for victory Chris delivered when he was 1 up going down 18 and shook his opponents hand and handed him a half when he was told the result.
Match 5
Man of the moment Neil James was off last for RND and had a uncharismatic day on the course which he was beaten by his opponent but the result didn't matter as RNDGC had won 3 and 2.
