North Devon League Round 2 at Torrington
A very close-run fixture saw just 14pts separate first to fifth, on a beautiful sunny day at Torrington.
Always a tricky venue to play at, generally with the home side finishing way ahead of everyone else, the RND team put up a very good showing.
With a team total of 157 points, it gave us 4th on the day, just a point behind Torrington in 3rd, 5pts behind Saunton in 2nd and 10pts off Libbaton who were the day’s overall winners.
38pts was the top individual score on the day, with three of our team coming close. Frank Stone (36pts), Gary Willoughby (35pts) and Andrew Sutherland (34pts).
Picking up two points on the day, we currently sit second in the league, just two points behind Libbaton.
All to play for when we go to Saunton for the next fixture, at the end of June.
