Holsworthy Seniors v RND Veterans 16 July 2025

Once again the doughty warriors from RND ventured forth to do battle with Holsworthy Seniors. All members arrived at Holsworthy eyeing the threatening skies (and weather forecast), digging out waterproofs.

Unfortunately we had two dropouts due to illness, thankfully Gary Fisher and Tony Allin stepped in.

Myself and Gary teed off with no sign of the threatening rain. We had to concede defeat on the 14th. Well played Gary.

This loss was cancelled out by Hurrell and Zukowski winning 3&1.
Coles and Allin succumbed, (too many shots given).
The other Fisher and Buxton restored the status quo winning their match 5&4.
Alas Hall/Taylor and Jones/Juniper were unable to bring home any chickens.
So the final score was Holsworthy 4, RND 2.
The overall reckoning being RND 6.5. Holsworthy 5.5
So well done Team, thank you all for your efforts over the two legs.
