After the Lowis Cup Greensomes is the most important presentation of the year, Val Cook becomes only the 5th Lady President of the Club, the second in the last nine years. Saturday was a little wet but that didn't dampen any spirits at the club at all! The course is playing incredibly well, the green are amazing and as a result the scores in the Saturday Winter mixed Greensomes were superb with a couple of ladies groups doing really well towards the end just when Martin Butler and Robert Greenwood were writing their speeches! Sunday evening was the presentation for The Whisky Foursomes events which are held on the 9th and 16th December. There are also presentations to winners of the last three monthly medals, Perpetual Trophies for the years golf and plenty of other hard fought Trophies for individual, Foursomes and team golf. The annual President Vs Chairman match was played on Sunday 25th November. Leading the field was 2018 President Heather Gale playing with next years President Dick Ford against 2018 Chairman Mervyn Fudge and his wife Mary.
